It’s my understanding the nut alllergy was specifically a Tree nut allergy… not a peanut allergy. A tree nut allergy is one of the most common food allergies in children and adults. Tree nuts include walnut, almond, hazelnut, cashew, pistachio and Brazil nuts. VIP: These are not the same as peanuts, which are legumes, or seeds, such as sunflower or sesame.

Hi Kim. Yes, the allergy was to tree nuts. Where do coconuts fit into the spectrum? In the discovery, Frankie is revealed to have kept pistachios in his bedroom the entire time Shan’ann visited. So if anything I’m angling at the nuance around nuts.

      • Kim C.

Coconuts and pistachios both fall up under the tree nut category, however peanut butter would have been safe to have in the home. I believe many of the “thrive” products/ recipes may have contained peanuts and did not pose a threat.

The first photo posted appears to show the scar CW refers to when he is asked if his wife had any scars or significant identifying marks… It appears to be directly above her glasses?

From what I’ve read, coconuts are in a grey area, and are not strictly speaking tree nuts but tree fruit. Anyway, on page 1035 of the Discovery Documents, this is the assessment of Ceecee’s autopsy:

HISTORY: The decedent is a 3-year-old Caucasian female (DOB: 07/17/2015) who has a medical history significant for peanut allergies.

I’m surprised to see that peanut butter on the counter. I recall reading her say pistachios are her favorite nut and she never has them in the house. That look from Cindy reminds of someone who watches like a hawk then reports every move you’ve made.

And where are the kids? They aren’t behind her in the pool. It looks like an opportunity to feature the Thrive patch.

    • Karen

if you look just below her left ear you can see the leg of one of the kids. It may be a shadow and I may be wrong but can you see Cindy and Shan’ann alone in the pool? lol

Karen you’re becoming a true crime aficionado.

wasn’t it a nut in ice cream that sparked the fight? i might be wrong. i was thinking it was ice cream or another “treat” that cindy’s other grandkids (CW’s sister’s kids) were having that made Cece want it etc. This picture speaks a thousand words. I think Cindy was so jealous of SW.

Geesh, his mother looks like she just can’t stand shanann. So sad, they may not have struck the match but they certainly poured some gas on the situation that caused this tragedy

    • AC

Yeah, she’s probably like, “can you just ditch the damn phone and get in the pool with your kids?” Also, there’s nothing spontaneous about Shannann. Everything is staged– from the fake smiles to the matching outfits.
Did Shanann have any hobbies at all? Or was her life just Thrive and social media? She didn’t seem to really *do* anything else. Did she ever just relax and read a book when the kids were sleeping? Or enjoy some much-needed silence? Perhaps live in the moment? She appears to be someone that doesn’t like to be alone. (Those types need a lot of distraction and drama to avoid the unthinkable– having to focus on one’s own life and problems.)

Maybe in time, she would have evolved in to all of the things you think she should have been had she been given the opportunity to live her life like the rest of us.

      • Sally Silva

She was so not spontaneous. Sales is the perfect job for a person who puts on a phony front. I do not respond well to sales people. I see that personality type a mile away. I mean no disrespect to the family. That is my honest opinion of the phoniness that a lot of people don’t seem to notice. I see it in shannan in spades. She was a young woman and had her whole life to climb up the ladder. I’m sure she would have eventually grownout of it but Chris did not give her that chance. He was empty.
